  1. The Amber Fort: the first fort to get a mention in the list is the fort of Amber, it was built by the then erstwhile Maharaja Jai Singh, who built the city. This was his capital and the fort was his royal palace. City Palace is famous for its sprawling campus and magnificent design. The design clearly reflects the impact of Mughal architecture. Its' just few kilometers away from the local bus stand and is the first place to be visited.

  2. The Nahargarh Fort: standing closely behind the Amber fort, this was mainly built a resting place for the kings who came for the game in the forest nearby. This is the ultimate destination to get a breathtaking glimpse of the city. Its' the highest point in the city and famous for its open campus. This is the picnic point of the city and also house the museum of ancient Mughal era weapons and handicrafts.

The Jaigarh Fort: just about 1.5 KM a top the hill beyond the Amber for and in the way to the Nahargarh fort, this fort houses the world's Biggest Cannon which was only used once and ended the war. The other attraction includes the beautifully carved walls with paintings depicting the lifestyle of Kings of that times.

  4. The Hawa Mahal: the trademark symbol of the city, the Hawa mahal is centrally situated in the walled city. This one is not a fort though, but it's a beautiful monument for anyone to see. The name derived after the gust of wind which greets the tourist a top the upper floor. This ancient monument is listed in the UNESCO world Heritage site. This is just few kilometers away from the city bus stand and railway station.
